“A parishioner received a text message pretending to be one of the priests in our family asking for gift cards. This is a reminder that Fr. Ben (or any priest) will never ask anyone individually by text or email requesting gift cards and to disregard the request as a scam. They will meet with individuals personally if they ever need anything.”
